For the third year, Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC, will host three 6:00 p.m. worship services in August. The services will be held on the church lawn along Lincoln Street (weather permitting) on August 12, 19, and 26.
A light meal will be provided along with time for prayer, song, and conversation.
The third service, on Wednesday, August 26, will feature Norumbega Harmony, led by Dr. Stephen Marini, who teaches in the Religious Studies Department at Wellesley College. Norumbega Harmony is a singing group that researches and performs Early American sacred music.
