We have been busy preparing, and we are excited to welcome all families with children and youth to Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC!
Each week, regular participants, newcomers, and guests will be greeted warmly and invited to join our discussions and learn what God expects of us and promises us as Christians. We are looking forward to renewing our class covenant and rebuilding our church school community.
Here is our schedule for September 2023.
- Sunday, September 10, 10:00 a.m. Recovenant Sunday. Intergenerational worship. Nursery care will be available for children through age 5.
- Sunday, September 17, 10:00 a.m. Church School Rally Day! Church School will begin for the 2023-2024 church year. Children and youth will begin in the worship service at 10:00 a.m., and then gather in the Great Hall to make sandwiches for our neighbors at the Community Day Center of Waltham, MA, which provides services to adults who are homeless. After worship everyone is invited to enjoy their own ice cream sundae or other cool treat!
- Sunday, September 24, 10:00 a.m. We will begin in worship and then gather for church school. We will enjoy games that are active, fun, and faith based.
