As part of their study of Jesus’ life, on Sunday, February 12, 2023, children and youth tasted the types of foods Jesus may have eaten. The special meal was prepared by Director of Christian Education Wendy Donnell.
After a lesson and discussion about customs in Jesus’ time, children and youth gathered in the parlor to sample lentil stew, bread, olives, chick peas, and grapes, and to socialize.
Given the novelty of some of the foods, one child asked, “Is this all Jesus ate?”
