We invite all children and youth to the new church school year at Newton Highlands Congregational Church in September. Come greet the friends you know and make new ones!
The Bible calls friends of Jesus disciples. Let’s be disciples and learn about Jesus together. We will read new Bible stories and talk about how to behave in caring and helpful ways in our own lives. We will also enjoy creative crafts, games, and other activities throughout the church year.
Here is our schedule for September 2026.
- Sunday, September 13, 9:50 a.m., Childcare for young children begins. We will all worship together in the sanctuary. Contact us if you have any questions.
- Sunday, September 20, 10:00 a.m., Megan Kolodny, church school teacher, returns. Join us for our monthly mission activity: We will make sandwiches for the Community Day Center of Waltham during church school.
- Sunday, September 27, 10:00 a.m., Who is the Holy Spirit? What is meant by this Bible passage? “The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” (Galatians 5:22-23)
