Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God.
1 Peter 4:10
Are you a maker with gifts you can share at this year’s Advent Market, or can you help set up, decorate, or staff a table?
The Advent Market is set for Sunday, December 3, 2023, after worship, and the Mission Committee invites all to participate!
On Sunday, December 3, the Great Hall will be the scene of a Christmas-themed fair that explains and raises money for many of the nonprofits that Newton Highlands Congregational Church supports, including Family Promise Metrowest, Newton Food Pantry, and Rosie’s Place. Last year’s market raised more than $4,500.
The Mission Committee needs volunteers to help make this year’s market a success.
“If you have helped in the past, you know this special event provides a lot of fellowship and fun,” stated Mission Committee co-chair Holly Grieb. “If you haven’t helped or are new to NHCC, please join us. We need ideas and participation from everyone–we are the body of Christ.”
To join the fun, please see Ms. Grieb during fellowship on Sunday, October 22, or contact us.
