Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, “Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.
He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet. Then he called for the believers, especially the widows, and presented her to them alive.

The Reverend Dr. Ken Baily celebrated the first-time selection of an American pope in Rome.
In his meditation he examined Acts 9:36-43 and commented on Christianity’s call for practical action along with contemplation.
“Acts speak much more than sermons,” he stated.
The postlude, played by Yevgenia Semeina, organist, was Fanfare — Voluntary on “Darwell’s 148th.”
After worship, families enjoyed a special fellowship time hosted by Ms. Wendy Donnell and the Christian Education Committee.
