“What do we believe when times are hard? asked the Reverend Dr. Ken Baily.

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC, the Reverend Baily preached about the long-held belief after Jesus’ death that he would return shortly. He spoke about working for the future we want and “building an empire that includes everyone.”

The choir sang a rousing rendition of “Wade in the Water.”

Children heard a message about keeping the faith.

For the postlude, organist Yevgenia Semeina played Church Sonata in F major (W. A. Mozart).
