In December 2025, Building Manager Yoko Bryden oversaw repairs to an area of the wall near the organ in the sanctuary at Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC.
Painter Peter Glezellis and his partner repaired and repainted the wall by the organ and in the closet next to the choir loft. To prevent future water damage, the painters installed plexiglass for the small window in the closet instead of a storm window.
Prior to the painting, a roofer repaired several cracked slates on the roof that had allowed water to seep in.
