God gives to us so we can give back to others
This month we will make sandwiches for the hungry, honor the women we love and who love us, celebrate God’s life-giving spirit, walk to help provide housing for families, and deepen our faith life with God.
Here is our schedule for May.
- Sunday, May 5, 10:00 a.m., We will gather in the kitchen to make sandwiches for our neighbors at Community Day Center of Waltham. After worship, join members of the Newton Highlands Congregational Church Mission Committee for a walk in Newton Highlands to raise money for Family Promise Metrowest.
- Sunday, May 12, 10:00 a.m., Everyone is invited to a special fellowship time. All families, friends, and guests are welcome as we honor the women in our lives.
- Sunday, May 19, 10:00 a.m., Pentecost Sunday. Let’s gather to learn why being ignited by the Holy Spirit teaches us to share the word of God. We will celebrate being Christians and learn more about ways to serve others.
- Sunday, May 26, 10:00 a.m., Trinity Sunday calls us to acknowledge both the breadth of our experience of God and limitations of our knowledge. Come discover something new. Learn what the Trinity is and see God in a whole new light.
