In his meditation at Newton Highlands Congregational Church on Sunday, October 13, 2024, the Reverend Ken Baily discussed how Christian faith calls believers to see what is happening and stand up and work for justice.
Children and youth heard a message about caring and then gathered for church school, where they made cards for people living in areas affected by recent hurricanes.
The hymn of departure was “Let Justice Flow Like Streams.”
For the postlude, organist Yevgenia Semeina played “Fanfare” (J. Conely).
