For its annual Thanksgiving effort, the Mission Committee of Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC (NHCC), plans to provide turkey and mashed potatoes to Allston-Brighton Food Pantry in Brighton.
Volunteer chefs are needed to cook at home and bring food to the NHCC kitchen on Sunday, November 23.
The Allston Brighton Food Pantry is a strategic mission of the Brighton-Allston Congregational Church and shares staff. Every month, the food pantry serves more than 1,200 clients.
