Jesus had many followers. Of these followers, Jesus chose twelve to be with him and share his work in a unique way. These twelve went everywhere with Jesus. Jesus knew that someday his followers would have to carry on his work, so he taught them how to live and teach. He trusted them with his work.
Starting this Sunday and for the next few weeks, all children and adults will be following and sharing Jesus’ way in a unique way of their own. As Jesus’ disciples in 2022, CE and the Mission Committee will use soup sales to raise money for World Central Kitchen, which is providing food to families in Ukraine. Boxes of soup will be available for $30 each. Cash or checks welcome, or donate electronically through NHCC.
We are all disciples–helpers of Jesus–and there are more than twelve of us at NHCC.
