This summer our deacons have been active with follow-up to our Annual Meeting, preparation for an interim Music Director search and, of course, organizing worship—including a special service on Sunday, August 7.
Buildings & Grounds, which shares oversight of a church administrator with the pastor, is organizing a new job description. The Mission Committee has a new chair, Kitty Rieske.
And a committee appointed by Council (Sally Brickell, Randy Ellis, Ann Hulsing, Keirsten Lawton, and Steve Willner) is responding to the vote of the congregation in June to present options for the disposition of the parsonage. Repair, keep, rent, sell…The group has met twice and plans to meet again.
Staff and lay leaders are active all through the summer.
