This Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., join neighbors from Newton and beyond as UCC clergy and churches gather for communion in our sanctuary. Pastors Wayne Earl from Second Church; Cheryl Kerr from United Parish, Auburndale; Wendy Vander Hart from Union Church, Waban; and our own Ken Baily have organized a special August Lord’s Supper.
But there’s more: The Rev. Dr. Mary Luti—former NHCC member and ordained in our sanctuary—is our preacher and the author of the communion liturgy and the middle hymn.
This special service marks our covenant in the United Church of Christ, and our celebration of loving our neighbors. Unite to worship our one God, and gather at the table where Jesus said, “Do this in remembrance of me.”
