As many of you know, NHCC has been a strong supporter of Family Promise Metrowest (FPM) for many years. The mission of FPM “is to transform the lives of families with children facing homelessness by mobilizing a diverse community to provide shelter, education, and comprehensive support.”
To support this mission, there are 2-3 fundraisers each year. This spring there will be a Walk to End Homelessness and a raffle. Because of the pandemic, the Walk will take place in your own neighborhood, May 1 or 2. When it is possible to walk as a group, we have registered and walked as the NHCC Walkers. However, this year, if you decide to support the Walk, we ask that you send your donation to NHCC, payable to NHCC, with the memo, FPM Walk to End Homelessness, by May 10.
The second opportunity to support FPM will be a raffle. Tickets must be purchased by midnight, Saturday, May 1, through the website: Family Promise Metro West News and Events. The cost is $20/1, $50/3, and $100/6.
Prizes:
1st Place – $2,500 cash prize.
2nd Place – Refresh Your Room Package. This includes a 2 hour consultation with interior designer Susan Burt, a $300 gift card to Debsans Store in Natick, a $250 gift card to Home Goods/Home Sense, and painting services for one room donated by Dimensions 3D.
3rd Place – Rejuvenate Your Garden package. This includes a 1 hour consultation with landscape designer Catherine Volic, owner of Sweetgum Horticulture, and a $500 Visa card to purchase plants or landscape supplies.
Prize winners will be announced on Sunday, May 2 at 1 pm.
