It was a fabulous opportunity to spend time with our family in Ohio including Michael and his identical twin Matt spending their first birthday together in 20 years. We are excited Ainsley is moving back to Weymouth to start her career at Talbots.

This summer the Simpsons spent time in Hyannis and got to celebrated Liz’s milestone birthday on Martha’s Vineyard. We got to do the tour of all six towns of island and the kids went diving on Inkwell Beach.

We had a great summer! Visited Italy for a weeklong yoga retreat, gathered with Sunwoo’s family in Michigan for July 4, visited Susanna in LA during her summer internship and visited my mother and brother in Edmonton to celebrate her 91 years. Looking forward to being back in the sanctuary and singing in the choir!

We moved Zachary to Philadelphia to begin his dual master’s degree in architecture and historic preservation at the University of Pennsylvania. And we moved Ben back into St. Lawrence University for his junior year. He’ll spend spring semester in Madrid. Before they left, we all caught a Red Sox game together, and they won!

We went to Bar Harbor, Maine, to hike at Acadia National Park. We go there every year to unwind.

Our summer started with a few short trips nearby and finished with trips to Taiwan and Japan. We came away with plenty of heartfelt memories with family and friends and unforgettable experiences from 11 museum/exhibition visits over three weeks of time.

We had a lovely summer! We started off by getting to go to a World Cup match at Gillette (Germany vs Paraguay—awesome match!). We spent some time in Vermont and New Hampshire with friends and family, and had a relaxed vacation on the Cape in August. We also got in one more family 5K in Worcester, a fundraiser for my clinic.
