Members of the Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC, Mission Committee deliberated in June 2025 to decide which nonprofits to support with their remaining discretionary funds.
The committee works to address needs locally, nationally, and internationally according to co-chairs Holly Grieb and Kitty Rieske. They also keep in mind the goals expressed in their mission statement (Feed the Hungry, House the Homeless, and Keep the Creation).
Committee members allocated funds to 10 organizations working to address hunger, homelessness, and health needs.
