*Opening Hymn #418 God, Bless Your Church with Strength!

*Prayer of Invocation: based on Psalm 100
All: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
Serve God with gladness! Come into God’s presence with singing!
Know that the Lord is God.
For our God made us all, not we ourselves:
We are God’s people, and the sheep of the everlasting pasture.
Enter the gates of worship with thanksgiving, and this sanctuary of hope with praise.
Give thanks to God… For our Lord is good;
with steadfast love that endures for ever,
and faithfulness to all generations.
May God be with us now in worship, and forever, Amen.

NHCC is an Open and Affirming, Still Speaking congregation where all are welcome regardless of the divisions or separations that some in society would impose:
whoever you are, you are welcome in God’s house. “In Christ we are a new creation,”
so we are blessed to be together in Christ’s name.

Next week, January 21 after worship, a small group gathers to discuss membership at NHCC.
Contact Ken Baily or any reader or welcomer to learn more.

Thanks to worship leaders Ken Baily, Wendy Donnell, Jan Zimmerman,
Yevgenia Semeina-Maroyan, Steve Harris, Mission Committee, and Misha Hill.

Each Sunday, NHCC is blessed to be able to include remote members and friends in worship via
Youtube and on our website. Worship is live-streamed and recorded. We don’t control who can watch
or who can be seen. If you do not wish to have your likeness recorded, streamed, or photographed,
please inform a greeter so you can be seated appropriately.
