The Newton Highlands Congregational Church (NHCC) Worship & Spiritual Life Committee (deacons) and the Reverend Ken Baily led innovative Wednesday evening worship services on August 14, 21, and 28, 2024. These special services replaced Sunday morning services for three weeks.
Blessed with pleasant weather, about 20 worshippers gathered each week on the Lincoln Street Lawn for light refreshments and a time of prayer and devotion.
The services were publicized in Fig City News and the Newton Beacon.
