All are invited to a socially distant visit to the sanctuary, with organ music, on September 13, 2020–Re-Covenant Sunday. A good group turned out for a similar event on August 23. Here are some other events coming up:
- September 20: Indoor music on our traditional Church School start up day. We’ll share popsicles outside at NHCC after our Zoom worship service.
- October 4: Blessing of the Animals (weather permitting)
As a reminder, we can’t re-open: we never closed. But we are re-entering our building here and there, as folks wish. Go to NHCC.net for updated information. We follow the guidance of our Commonwealth resources and the best science.
Church members work with our Moderator Sally Brickell on a re-entry committee including Randy Ellis, Kessely Hong, Jeff Small, Jim Harper and three staff: Wendy Donnell, Sarah Eberly and Ken Baily. Anna McMahan (M.D.) advises us as well, along with two others.
We know that September and the remainder of Pentecost will continue to be unusual. We’ll keep updating and doing what we can safely and hopefully. So please stay safe and please stay tuned.
