After several attempts, Misha Hill, chair of the Buildings & Grounds Committee, installed a screen for announcements outside the Newton Highlands Congregational Church office. Its debut appearance was on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
The screen currently exhibits the home page of the church website, and Mr. Hill plans to arrange for rotating church announcements. The first two screens that Mr. Hill purchased were cracked, resulting in delays.
Installing the screen was one of several planned electrical and lighting improvements.
