The needs of caffeine-dependent worshippers are front and center as Joy Huber of the Worship & Spiritual Life Committee has taken on the task of purchasing a new coffeemaker for after-worship fellowship in November 2023.
Coffee drinkers and fellowship volunteers have grown frustrated as the old machine has ground to a halt, and Ms. Huber is attempting to satisfy their demands and brew a new blend.
“The people have spoken: They want fresh, hot coffee on Sunday mornings–not a hot mess–and nothing short of that will satisfy them,” she stated. “I’m doing my best and hope to arrive at a solution briskly so they can enjoy their morning jolt without a ripple.”
