After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him.

While children and youth made sandwiches for Community Day Center of Waltham, the Reverend Susan Cartmell preached about the three wise men featured in the story of Jesus’ birth.
She considered what makes these travelers of enduring interest to people of faith and highlighted three of their traits; these were curiosity, persistence, and a willingess to use their God-given gifts for the benefit of others.

The service concluded with “Festive Processional” played by organist Yevgenia Semeina.
