According to Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC, tradition, worship moves to 9:30 a.m. in July, and non-Communion summer services are typically planned and led by non-clergy members.

Evening worship at 6:00 p.m.

Summer hours for the church office run from June 22 to August 31. During this time, the office will be open for about ten hours per week, as follows:
- Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (remote)
- Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
