May 2023
All Sunday mornings are filled with an opportunity for children and youth to interact and learn together in a welcoming environment. This month we will continue serving God by feeding others, appreciating the women we love, and working together so all children know that God has given each one of them different gifts and roles.
Here is our schedule for May 2023.
- Sunday, May 7, 10:00 a.m., Let’s gather to make sandwiches for our hungry neighbors at the Community Day Center of Waltham
- Sunday, May 14, 10:00 a.m., Celebrate women’s wonders! Moms do a lot for us every day. Moms are also tasked with the most important job of all: teaching us to follow God. More than anything, they want us to become people who love God and love others so that we will make this world a more loving, caring, and faith-centered world. After church, children will help serve the important women in their lives.
- Sunday, May 21, 10:00 a.m., In Acts 1:15-20 we learn that Peter, one of Jesus’ disciples, was chosen to select a disciple to replace Judas. Have you ever been chosen to be on a team, play in a game, or even replace someone else? Being chosen or not being chosen can be a very difficult experience. How do we make the right decisions? Come and see who we can ask and seek guidance from about big and small decisions.
- Sunday, May 28, 10:00 a.m., Pentecost Sunday. Everyone is welcome for intergenerational worship. Nursery care available.
