As a community we will make sandwiches for the hungry twice this month, celebrate our own specialness and friendships, attend worship, collect cans of tuna fish, hand out new Bibles, and honor the men we love. Come celebrate your faith, hope, and love with your church friends.
Here is our schedule for June 2025.
- Sunday, June 1, 10:00 a.m. Children and youth begin in church school to make sandwiches for the adults who are homeless at the Community Day Center of Waltham. We return to join our families for communion.
- Sunday, June 8, 10:00 a.m. Did you know that Pentecost is considered the birthday of the Christian Church? During church school we will learn about the meaning of Pentecost. Come celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit and God’s power within our world and in our lives.
- Sunday, June 15, 10:00 a.m. After church school we will join the Circle of Blessings, with prayers of thanksgiving for our church year. Afterwards, we will meet on the church lawn for an ice cream sundae party to celebrate Father’s Day and our church community.
- Sunday, June 22, 10:00 a.m. Did you know that today is International Being You Day? Are we able to be ourselves when we are with our families, friends, classmates, and at church? How can you be empowered to believe in your dreams and uniqueness without judgment? Come and share, because God really likes you just the way you are!
