Beginning on Sunday, July 2, 2023, the church school program will take a summer break. Children are welcome to sit in worship with their families.
Nursery care will be offered on Sunday, August 6, since other UCC churches in Newton will be gathering at Newton Highlands Congregational Church for worship.
During the summer hiatus, the Christian Education (CE) Committee and staff will prepare for fall 2023. Good news! Megan Dillion will be returning to teach. CE is currently seeking a second teacher for younger children since the church is steadily welcoming more families.
“We have made a commitment to your children to fulfill the mission of our children’s ministry today and always,” stated CE Director Wendy Donnell. “We approach this task with a great deal of seriousness and love. Please talk with your children and share any information you can to help us continue to provide a solid, relevant religious education program.”
“Thank you for trusting us with your children’s faith formation and for your continued support,” she added. “Have a safe and wonderful summer!”
