Here is our schedule for October 2024.
- Sunday, October 6, 10:00 a.m., Children and youth begin in church school to make sandwiches for adults who are homeless at the Community Day Center of Waltham. We will also put together bags of Halloween treats for the clients of the center.
- Sunday, October 13, 10:00 a.m., We begin in worship and then gather for church school. To care for others, we will make loving handwritten cards for veterans, whom we honor on Veterans Day (November 11). All letters will be sent to the Veterans Home in Chelsea, MA. Their mission is to provide the highest quality personal health care services to veterans with dignity, honor, and respect.
- Sunday, October 20, 10:00 am., We begin in worship and then gather for church school. Come explore some events that are celebrated on this Sunday around the world. There are interesting and fun celebrations—some religious—some not!
- Sunday, October 27, 10:00 am., We begin in worship and then gather for an event where fun and faith meet, where pumpkins and prayers abound, and where Halloween is illuminated in a new light. Bring your friends and get an extra Halloween treat!
