My wish and hope for you this summer is that you will take time to rest and renew with family, friends, nature, or whatever feels right to you and your family.
Much of our life and ministry happened virtually over the last year, and while this was an important way to stay connected during the pandemic, it could also make us feel “on” all the time. So, this summer, let’s take the opportunity to step into being “off” for periods of time to renew our spirits and soul.
I will be on furlough (and away from the office) during the month of July. In August I will be preparing the religious education programming for children and youth. There is a great deal to be excited about. I will be selecting teachers, writing creative lesson plans, and setting up the classrooms for your reentry!
I am looking forward to the start of church school on Sunday, September 19, at 10:00 a.m. Please contact me with any suggestions or comments as we plan and prepare to return to NHCC in September. Have a safe and refreshing summer!
