We often tell the children that God is love. In church school this month we will discuss how God’s love gives us a new understanding of what it means to love others and ourselves.
This month we will also begin preparations for Children’s Sunday, which will be held on April 28, 2024.
Here is our schedule for February.
- Sunday, February 4, 10:00 a.m., We will gather in the kitchen to make sandwiches for our neighbors at the Community Day Center of Waltham.
- Sunday, February 11, 10:00 a.m., Jesus said that we should treat other people the way we want to be treated ourselves. (Matthew 7:12) Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we were kind and loving? A good place to start making the world a better place is with ourselves. Come decorate cookies and cards for older church members and loved ones.
- Sunday, February 18, 10:00 a.m., Children’s activity and nursery care will be available.
- Sunday, February 25, 10:00 a.m., Worship Planning Sunday! Join us in church school as we begin preparing our children and youth to lead worship on Children’s Sunday, April 28, 2024. Mark your calendar!
