The Christian Education team hopes that your list for the new year includes attending church regularly, committing to mission activities, and deepening prayer time.
On Sunday mornings in January, children and youth will be helping others by feeding the hungry and collecting donations for our Helpful Heifer Honeybees Drive. We will also be preparing for the upcoming Children’s Sunday scheduled for March 10, 2025.
Here is our schedule for January 2025.
- Sunday, January 5, 10:00 a.m., Children and youth begin in the kitchen downstairs making sandwiches and writing notes of kindness for adults who are homeless at the Community Day Center of Waltham.
- Sunday, January 12, 10:00 a.m., Worship planning. Join us in church school as we begin preparing our children and youth to lead worship on Children’s Sunday, March 10, 2025. Mark your calendar!
- Sunday, January 19, 10:00 a.m., Martin Luther King, Jr. taught us that God made us special, God loves everyone, and with God, we can keep our dreams and hopes alive. Join us for an interesting and important conversation.
- Sunday, January 26, 10:00 a.m., We continue planning for Children’s Sunday, March 10, 2025.
