Holly Grieb, co-chair of the Mission Committee, hosted a craft-making session on October 5, 2024, with her husband Michael, to kick off preparations for the Newton Highlands Congregational Church Advent Market on December 15.
Member Sally Brickell attended, and she and Ms. Grieb stamped sheets of wrapping paper with seasonal designs. Meanwhile, Mr. Grieb decorated Christmas tree ornaments using a decoupage technique.
Additional craft sessions will also be held on the following dates (locations TBD):
- Saturday, October 26, 10:00 a.m.
- Saturday, November 2, 10:00 a.m.
All are welcome for crafting, conversation, and light refreshments.
Proceeds from the sale of these crafts will be split between Family Promise Metrowest and Newton Food Pantry.
