February 13 service includes “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing”

Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.

Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied.

Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.

Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.

Luke 6: 20-22

On Sunday, February 16, 2022, Ms. Wendy Donnell, director of Christian Education, spoke about how Christians can extend, promote, and encourage peace. “Let there be peace on earth, and let it start with each one of us,” she said.

The Reverend Ken Baily asked listeners to consider how we can take care of people and release them from bondage. He spoke about connecting spirit, intellect, and action in order to do the right thing and support others.

Worshippers were also treated to the senior choir’s rendition of “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.”
