Firearms are complicated. Farmers, soldiers and many others need them. They are legal. But having them in the home increases danger to the owners: It doesn’t decrease it. Both NHCC properties are Weapon Free Zones, by a 2012 vote of our parish. Some members wish to bring this voice to our City, too, and if you are among them there is a scheduled City Council meeting Monday May 10 at 7 p.m. But check the details; they do evolve.
