Congregational Welcome
Choral Introit “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty” (arr. Sjolund)

Responsive Call to Worship
Leader: Christ is Risen!
All: He is risen indeed!

*Gathering Hymn #118 The Day of Resurrection!

*Prayer of Eastertide
One Voice: The complete Psalm 133 goes this way, with images of oil and dew: images of abundance. Hear this word: “Behold, how very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down upon the beard, upon the beard of Aaron, running down over the collar of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion. For there our God ordained a divine blessing, life forevermore.” Let us pray to the God of unity and blessing and life.
All: Gracious, life-giving God, we pray that you be with us this Eastertide. Our winters can chill us, and Lent brings us Good Friday shadows, but now we receive something precious, abundant, and blessed, that lasts forevermore. Like the cup that overflows, like the light that darkness cannot overcome, you bring us yourself, in the power of resurrection. Whenever we are behind a locked door, bring us your peace. Even as we doubt or run, fill us with your love. And empower us to listen, live, learn, and rise with you, to love our neighbor, ourselves, and you, now and forever. Amen.

The Celebration of Holy Communion
All: For this table is spread for you and for me that we might know that God has come to us and shared our common lot and invited us to receive life anew. Indeed, God has triumphed even over death. So we come to this table for thanksgiving, for grace, for God’s presence, for peace.
Leader: Let us unite our voices in preparation. God be with you.
All: And also with you.
Leader: Lift up your hearts. All: We lift them up to God!
Leader: Let us praise God together, saying:
All: Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of power and might.
Heaven and earth are full of your glory, Hosanna in the Highest.
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
