On October 6, 2024, World Communion Sunday, worshipers at Newton Highlands Congregational Church (NHCC) will support Neighbors in Need, a special offering of the United Church of Christ.
Neighbors in Need focuses on ministries in the United States. The 2024 theme is “Mental Health Justice for All,” and the goal is to ensure that the “human rights and well-being of people with mental health challenges are respected.”
One-third of Neighbors in Need collections support Council for American Indian Ministry, and two-thirds provide grants to Justice and Witness Ministries.
