Thanks to Yoko Bryden, building manager, the Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC, closet stage right in the Great Hall has a new metal cabinet.
The church has provided the cabinet in December 2025 for tenant Dance Stream Studio so they can keep their supplies organized. The cabinet was paid for from the Buildings and Grounds Committee budget.
Ms. Bryden has been working to organize and repair the closet since 2023, when she oversaw a cleanout and then had shelves removed, outdoor repairs done to prevent water damage, and plaster repairs and repainting done.
In November 2025, Ms. Bryden had too-heavy tables removed from the closet. She purchased a dozen lightweight folding tables that can now be used for meetings and events in the Great Hall.
