Additional plans for continuing the celebration of NHCC’s 150th anniversary in the fall of 2022 are taking shape. The activities will be designed to honor the church’s history and engage members in considering its future.
NHCC’s $1,000 donation in June 2022 to UCC Disaster Ministries was acknowledged with a note from the United Church of Christ. The donation was made through the Mission Committee, and the money will be used for disaster relief in Ukraine.
Members Bill Cordts and Erica Hodes led the first two worship services of the summer 2022 season. Ms. Hodes spoke on Sunday, July 10, about the juxtaposition of rage and hope, encouraging listeners to turn hope from a feeling into an action that will serve others and bring about change.
