How did Newton Highlands grow from a rural crossroads at Centre Street and Route 9 into the vibrant village that we know today?
Celebrate NHCC’s 150th anniversary with a walking tour of Newton Highlands led by Historic Newton on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. This tour will take you past key landmarks from the 1800s, including the train station, the Stevens Block, the former Hyde School, and elegant Victorian homes.
Historic Newton’s walking tours are supported by Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Fee: $15 per person, $10 for NHCC members and Historic Newton members. Rain date, October 16.
