Perry B. Newman, executive director of Konbit Sante, will speak at Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC, on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Konbit Sante is an international nonprofit organization based in Maine that is dedicated to strengthening the health care system and improving health outcomes in northern Haiti.
Mr. Newman previously served as CEO of Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation, a community development corporation based in Boston. With an extensive background in international business, law, diplomacy and community development, Mr. Newman has throughout his career led high-impact organizations aimed at improving economic and social conditions in the United States, Canada, France and Israel.
Mr. Newman, a graduate of Oberlin College (B.A.) and Washington University (J.D.), lives in Maine and is an avid musician and fitness enthusiast.
