March 1, 2026, was Healing Sunday at Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC, and congregants were invited to join prayer circles and light candles after Communion.
The choir sang “There Is a Balm in Gilead.”
The Reverend Dr. Ken Baily spoke about ways that church members provide healing through mission projects like sandwich making and donating to Konbit Sante. “Jesus wants us to be conected to God and to each other,” he said.
