Sunday features Psalms, leaf raking

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
    the world, and all who live in it;
for he founded it on the seas
    and established it on the waters.

Psalm 24

On Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Newton Highlands Congregational Church, congregants enjoyed a service featuring several Psalms and a meditation by the Reverend Ken Baily on ways Psalms are used.

“Psalms orient, disorient, and reorient,” the Reverend Baily stated.

After a brief children’s message, a large group of children and youth headed outside to help rake the church grounds.

For the postlude, organist Yevgenia Semeina played Toccata on “My Dancing Day” (M. Ellis).
