Director of Christian Education Wendy Donnell brought out the fancy china and her decorative shoe collection to adorn tables in the Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC, parlor on Sunday, May 10, 2026. After worship, women and their guests gathered for fresh tea, delectable treats, and camaraderie.
The tea was organized by Ms. Donnell with help from the Christian Education Committee, and they recognized her with a lavish pink floral arrangement.
A highlight of the event was a heartfelt rendition of “Let Me Call You Sweetheart” sung by male members of the church choir.
