Building Manager Yoko Bryden organized a crew (Sally Brickell and Lynn Shields) to clean out a closet to the left of the stage in the Newton Highlands Congregational Church Great Hall on Monday, November 13, 2023. Director of Christian Education Wendy Donnell provided guidance as requested.
The team donated, recycled, or discarded unneeded items and grouped items belonging to the dancer-tenants for them to review.
The Buildings & Grounds Committee plans to replace the heavy tables in the closet with lighter tables that are easier to use. The committee will also assess the peeling-paint situation.
