Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC, members Anna McMahan and Keirsten Lawton and their sons kicked off Pride Month with an athletic endeavor.
Reported Dr. McMahan, “We ran a family 5K yesterday — the Shrewsbury pride 5K— supporting outreach to LGBTQ youth in the community. Lucas came in second in the under-19 boys category, and Andrew hit a PR for 5Ks as well. It was fabulously fun and full of rainbows!”
