Are you a skilled creator–or are you interested in learning some new crafts?
Join a group of creators on Saturday, January 27, at 10:00 a.m., at 10 Chester Street, Newton Highlands, for crafting and conversation. Bring what you’re working on, or help make something new together.
The group, organized by Newton Highlands Congregational Church members Holly Grieb and Ann Hulsing, will be making items to be sold at the next Advent Market, to be held in December 2024. The group will continue meeting monthly.
Here are examples of projects the group may work on.
- Painting ornaments
- Making a group quilt to raffle off
- Sewing simple clothing
- Making holiday cards and tags
- Knitting winter hats, scarves, mittens
- Making cloth jewelry
- Assembling kits for Church World Service
