Church railings refreshed for spring
At the suggestion of member Mark Johnson, the railings on the Lincoln Street side of Newton Highlands Congregational Church were repainted a light beige color in March 2023. Mr. Johnson recommended beige to make the railings less obtrusive against the stone building and paved walkways. This work was approved by the Buildings & Grounds Committee.

The Christian Education team’s spare change fundraiser raised $130 that will be sent to the United Church of Christ’s disaster relief fund to help the thousands of people dealing with the devastation caused by the recent earthquake in Türkiye and Syria. Thank you to all who donated!
