Members of the Newton Highlands Congeregational Church, UCC, Building and Grounds Committee held their first meeting of the year on September 22, 2026.
The meeting began with expressions of gratitude for Ann Hulsing, former committee chair. Other agenda topics included updates to the church’s security system and WiFi, the best uses of spaces in the church basement, and an update on the Community Connection project.
The meeting ended with a walking tour of the basement.
In attendance were committee members Gena Bezdek, Randy Ellis, Paul Gilbert, and Daniel Wilson, along with Sally Brickell, vice moderator, and Yoko Bryden, building manager.
