CE: Serve and celebrate in Jesus’ name!

In March we will make sandwiches for the hungry, welcome a speaker, praise Jesus on his triumphal entry into Jerusalem, eat a Passover meal, mourn Jesus’ death, and celebrate his resurrection.

Here is our schedule for March.

  • Sunday, March 3, 10:00 a.m., We will gather in the kitchen to make sandwiches for our neighbors at the Community Day Center of Waltham.
  • Sunday, March 10, 10:00 a.m., During church school we will welcome Ms. Chloe-Rose Crouch, the manager at the Community Day Center of Waltham, to our class. The center provides day shelter and support services for adults who are experiencing homelessness. Ms. Crouch says, “They strive to create a safe, judgment-free culture that is grounded in hospitality, compassion, and mutual respect.”
  • Sunday, March 17, 10:00 a.m., Children and youth will plan and prepare for the April 28 worship service, which they will lead. We ask that all church families participate in this special event! Contact Ms. Wendy Donnell for more information.
  • Sunday, March 24, 10:00 a.m., Children are invited to wave palms at the beginning of worship. During church school we will learn how Palm Sunday and Jesus’ last meal lead us to Easter.
  • Sunday, March 31, 9:30 a.m., Join us for a community-wide Easter egg hunt. At 10:00 a.m. all are welcome to an intergenerational Easter Sunday worship service in the sanctuary. Nursery care for children through age 5 will be available.
