In July and August 2024, the Newton Highlands Congregational Church (NHCC) programs for children of all ages will be on a summer break.
On Sunday, August 4, however, there will be nursery care during worship for the annual All-Newton UCC intergenerational worship gathering. The Reverend Alex Shea Will leads worship and communion.
NHCC’s Christian Education program has made a commitment to fulfill the mission of our children’s ministry today and always. We approach this task with a great deal of seriousness and love. Please talk with your children contact us with any feedback to help us continue to provide a solid, relevant religious education program.
On September 8, Re-Covenant Sunday, all are invited for an intergenerational worship service. Nursery care will be available for children through age five during worship.
The new church school year begins on September 15! Let’s meet together to renew our energy for our common purpose of learning about the people in the Bible! We will have special Rally Day activities planned for children and youth.
During our summer hiatus, the CE Committee and staff will prepare for fall 2024. Please contact Director of Christian Education Wendy Donnell with suggestions or ideas you would like considered for the new church year. Have a wonderful summer!
